Gujranwala police have arrested a suspect within 24 hours of the incident involving the snatching of a handbag from the mother of national cricketer Hasan Ali.
The suspect had sought refuge at his cousin’s home in Lahore after committing the crime.
Hasan Ali has expressed his gratitude to Gujranwala Police, Punjab Police and the Government of Punjab for their swift action.
He also extended special thanks to Chief Police Officer (CPO) Ayaz Saleem and his team for their efforts in apprehending the suspect.
