Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held an important telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the evolving situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The two leaders exchanged views on recent regional developments, with a particular focus on cross-border tensions.
During the call, Ishaq Dar underscored that Pakistan responded effectively and befittingly to what he described as unprovoked Afghan aggression.
He stated that Pakistan exercised its right to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty.

According to Dar, Pakistan’s armed forces carried out successful air operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq to safeguard the country’s borders.

The deputy prime minister informed his Turkish counterpart that the airstrikes conducted under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq were aimed at protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty.

He emphasized that the actions were taken as part of Pakistan’s legitimate right to self-defense in response to aggression. The conversation reflected Islamabad’s position that its military response was necessary to ensure national security.
