Former National Assembly member and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Malik Niaz Ahmed Jakhar has passed away.
Malik Niaz Ahmed Jakhar was the father of current National Assembly member Owais Haider Jhakar.
Throughout his political career, he served multiple terms in the National Assembly and was affiliated with various political parties, winning four elections and losing four.
He last served in the National Assembly in 2018 on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ticket. Malik Niaz Ahmed Jakhar’s political journey spanned several decades, leaving a lasting impact on his constituency and party.
