Pakistan’s star cricketer Babar Azam is reportedly experiencing mental stress following a series of underwhelming performances in recent tournaments.
According to sources, Babar decided to take a break from the National T20 Cup after consulting close family members and friends. The former Pakistan captain plans to spend time with his family to recover mentally.
Sources say Babar has been undergoing rehabilitation and training at the National Cricket Academy in an effort to regain form and reduce stress. He is aiming to prepare himself fully for the upcoming Pakistan Super League.
During his training sessions at the academy, Babar has also been working alongside fellow cricketers Hasan Ali and Salman Mirza.
Babar’s recent performances in the Big Bash League and the ICC Men's T20 World Cup were considered disappointing, which reportedly contributed to his decision to step away briefly and focus on regaining form.
