Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) chairman said revealing the last date of filling the sales tax returns advised that chief financial officers (CFOs) should be consulted before the October 15 sales tax returns.
Sharing an example of tax evasion, FBR chairman said a so-called shoe manufacturing company stole Rs210 million in tax.
“480 million including fine have been collected from the company,” he said.
FBR chairman said the company owner and others were arrested for tax evasion.
