The price of 24-karat gold per tola has decreased by Rs800, bringing it down to Rs273,200, according to the Gold Association.
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs686, settling at Rs234,225. In the international market, the price of gold fell by $8, bringing the rate per ounce to $2,620.
The fluctuation follows a brief increase in gold prices observed a day earlier.
