42 Malaysian non-governmental organisations have stepped forward in protest against the attacks on Iran and submitted a resolution of condemnation to the Iranian ambassador.
The resolution denounced the attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel. It called upon the United Nations Security Council, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and international human rights bodies to act immediately to halt the war.
Speakers maintained that the unjustified strikes by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu had reduced Trump’s so-called “peace formula” to dust.
A dignified ceremony was held at the Iranian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, where a copy of the resolution was handed to Iranian Ambassador Valiollah Mohammadi.
A large number of Malaysian members of parliament, local dignitaries and media representatives were present on the occasion.
Speaking to the media, Ambassador Valiollah Mohammadi and Cikgu Azmi said the Iranian people had taken to the streets and raised the banner of Islamic Jihad, which they described as sufficient to open the eyes of their enemies.
