The human toll of the ongoing Iran–Israel war continues to rise, with the Iranian Red Crescent reporting that 1,332 people have been killed in Iran since the conflict began.
The war has also caused widespread destruction of homes and public infrastructure, while Israel has reported hundreds of new injuries from Iranian attacks over the past 24 hours.
According to the Iranian Red Crescent, the death toll in Iran has climbed to 1,332 people as bombing continues across several regions of the country. The humanitarian organization also reported extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
A total of 3,643 public centers and 3,090 homes have been destroyed in the attacks so far. In addition, 24 medical centers and nine Red Crescent offices were reportedly targeted during the bombing campaign.
Deadly attacks reported in Shiraz
Iranian media said 20 people were killed in US and Israeli attacks in Shiraz, one of Iran’s major cities. Among those killed were two emergency services personnel, according to reports.
The attacks also left 30 people injured, while six more individuals were wounded in a separate bombing in Iran’s Lorestan province.
Iranian air defenses shoot down US drones
Iranian media reported that the country’s air defense systems shot down two MQ-9 drones. The drones were reportedly intercepted as part of ongoing efforts to defend Iranian airspace during the escalating conflict.
Israeli casualties continue to rise
Meanwhile, the Israeli Health Ministry reported 140 people were injured in Iranian attacks over the past 24 hours.
Among the injured, 114 people sustained minor injuries, while 19 were reported in serious condition and one person was listed as critically injured.
Since the start of the war, the total number of injured Israelis has reached 1,619, according to the Israeli Health Ministry. Officials said 87 people are still receiving treatment in hospitals across Israel.
The figures highlight the growing humanitarian impact of the conflict as hostilities continue between the two countries.
