The govt is actively pursuing a crackdown on electricity theft across Pakistan, resulting in effective actions and significant outcomes.
Between January 21 and 28, authorities have recovered a total of Rs1.81 billion and apprehended 176 individuals nationwide.
Major cities, including Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Multan, have contributed to the recovery, amounting to Rs0.942 billion.
Law enforcement has arrested a combined total of 79 individuals in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Multan.

From Peshawar and newly added districts, authorities have collected Rs0.328 billion, with 27 individuals apprehended in Peshawar.
Hyderabad and Sukkur have seen a recovery of Rs0.45 billion, accompanied by the arrest of 70 individuals in Sukkur.
Quetta has contributed Rs0.09 billion to the recovery efforts.
From September 1 onwards, a total of 43,023 individuals have been apprehended, and authorities have successfully recovered Rs70.20 billion.
Govt agencies involved are resolute in maintaining the momentum of the crackdown against electricity theft.
