Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Saturday asked the judiciary to take notice of poll “rigging” in the recently held general elections.
Expressing his thoughts, CM Gandapur said: “We will stage protests tomorrow as our mandate has been staged across the country.”
He emphasised the importance of uplifting the constitution, saying, “Our nomination papers were snatched even before the general elections. We got to protect our constitution.”
“Even the international institutions had rejected accepting the elections. If the institutions give us assurance, we are ready for the elections,” CM Gandapur said.
Few days back, Gandapur had reinstated the suspended health card for the entire population of the province.
The decision was announced during a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, where it was declared that free treatment under the health card scheme would resume for 100 per cent of the province’s population starting from the 1st of Ramadan.
To support this initiative, an immediate release of Rs5billion was allocated to the State Life Insurance Company. This funding will facilitate the restoration of free treatment services under the health card scheme.
Additionally, a decision was made to allocate five billion rupees per month to clear the arrears owed by the State Life Insurance Company.
