The government has announced new working hours for public offices following the end of Ramazan, with a formal notification issued by the Establishment Division.
The revised schedule will be implemented immediately after Eid.
According to the notification, government offices operating on a five-day week will function from 8am to 4pm. These offices will observe a lunch and prayer break from 1pm to 1:30pm during working hours.
Schedule for six-day working offices
For government offices that operate six days a week, working hours will be from 8am to 3pm. The revised schedule aims to streamline operations and maintain consistency across departments after Ramazan.
The Establishment Division has formally issued the notification outlining the updated office timings. Officials confirmed that the new schedule will come into effect immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr.
Transition after Ramazan schedule
The change marks a return to routine working hours following the adjusted timings observed during Ramazan. Government departments have been directed to ensure implementation of the revised schedule across all offices.
