A confrontation unfolded on Saturday between journalists and party workers on the plane of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Notably, after an absence of four years, Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan, landing at Islamabad Airport from Dubai via a special aircraft.
Upon his arrival at Islamabad Airport, Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with his legal team to discuss various legal matters.
Following the meeting with the legal team, Nawaz Sharif prepared to depart for Lahore from Islamabad. However, just before takeoff, an incident of confrontation unfolded within his private aircraft due to a conflict between the party workers and journalists on board.

– Grassroots Level –
Former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz said on Saturday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is a ray of hope for 240 million people in the country.
In his special message ahead of the public gathering of the PML-N, Hamza Shehbaz said: ‘’The PML-N workers and masses from the grassroots level will welcome Nawaz Sharif with great verve.’’
"The people of Lahore will prove today that Nawaz Sharif is the heart of not only Punjab but entire Pakistan," he added.
– Shehbaz Sharif heaps praise on Nawaz Sharif –
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif today praised former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in connection with his return to the country after four years in exile.
Taking to X, Shehbaz Sharif said, ‘’ My leader, Nawaz Sharif, will be among you today, InshaAllah. He is coming back to unite this nation, not to divide it further’’.
He said, ‘’He is coming back to spread love among his people, not hatred. He is coming back to help you become a productive citizen, not as ammunition for any party or group. He is coming back to put Pakistan back on track’’.
