Caretaker Punjab Information Minister Aamir Mir has asked PTI leader Moonis Elahi how a proclaimed offender (PO) could comment on the competent authority of the (caretaker) government as a red warrant has been issued against him.
“Moonis Elahi believes that this will give him success in favor of the convicted person,” Aamir Mir replied to Moonis Elahi's post on X.
“Instead of tweeting from abroad, Moonis Elahi should show courage and return home,” the minister replied.
Aamir Mir's criticism came in response to the PTI leader's remarks questioning how the caretaker government of Punjab could suspend the sentence of a convicted criminal - in reference to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said he hoped someone would approach the high court for suspension of this "biased" act.
