The prices of gold and silver registered notable increases in the country on Tuesday.
Gold went up by Rs6,200 per tola, reaching Rs539,562 , while 10 grams of gold gained Rs5,316 rupees to hit Rs462,587.
On the international market, gold rose by 62 dollars per ounce to 5,168 dollars. Silver also saw a rise, with its price per tola increasing by 460 rupees to 9,354 rupees.
The surge reflects both global market movements and continued local demand for precious metals.
