Iran has launched fresh attacks on Israel as Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have begun a new wave of strikes under Operation Waad-e-Sadiq.
Explosions were heard in Tel Aviv as the Iron Dome system failed to stop Iranian missiles, and fires broke out at several locations. Large-scale destruction has been reported in Israel following the missile strikes. Israeli authorities said a further 108 people were injured within an hour, raising the number of wounded since the start of the war to 3,195.
After the growing missile and drone attacks from Iran, Israel’s stock of missile-defence interceptors is rapidly declining.
The Revolutionary Guards also said missiles struck a United States military base in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia, where training centres for F-35 and F-16 fighter aircraft were targeted.
Arab media reported that 1,444 people were killed in Iran during the past 15 days as a result of United States and Israeli attacks. Israeli strikes in Lebanon killed 773 people, while 14 people were killed in Israel.
During the same 15-day period, Iranian attacks killed 11 American soldiers. Deaths were also reported elsewhere in the region: six in the United Arab Emirates, two in Saudi Arabia, 26 in Iraq, six in Kuwait, three in Oman, and two in Bahrain.
