Pakistan’s armed forces carried out airstrikes in Kabul and Nangarhar Province during the night of March 16 under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, targeting facilities linked to the Taliban, according to security sources.
Sources said the strikes hit two locations in Kabul, destroying technical support infrastructure and ammunition storage facilities. Footage from the attack reportedly showed large flames rising due to secondary detonations, indicating the presence of a significant explosives stockpile.
Security sources also rejected claims by Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid that a drug hospital had been targeted, describing the statement as “ridiculous.”
In Nangarhar, Pakistan’s forces reportedly struck four sites linked to Taliban military installations. During the operation, nearby logistics hubs, ammunition depots and technical infrastructure were also destroyed.
According to security sources, operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until the stated objectives are achieved.
