Islamabad District and Sessions court judge Muhammad Mureed Abbas heard the case involving the alleged threat against a female judge by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and rejected the plea of acquittal.
Salman Safdar, the legal representative for the PTI Chairman, presented his arguments in the preceding session. However, the court deemed the evidence sufficient to proceed with the trial, delivering a safe verdict.
The judge witnessed arguments from both sides, with Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi presenting the case against the PTI Chairman.
The court's ruling emphasized that Imran Khan did not deserve acquittal in the case and dismissed the petition for acquittal.
