Karachi Kings have retained former Australian cricket legend David Warner as captain for the forthcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
According to details released on Tuesday, the Australian cricketer will continue to lead the franchise in the upcoming tournament, the team said.
The franchise said the decision reflects strong confidence in Warner’s leadership and ability.
Following the team’s improved performance under his guidance last season, the Kings opted to maintain continuity in leadership.
It is pertinent to note that the 39-year-old cricketer has represented Australia in 112 Tests, 161 One Day Internationals and 110 Twenty20 Internationals.
