The price of gold in global market and Pakistan dropped again after two days of bullish momentum.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs2,900, bringing the new rate to Rs540,362, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2,486, settling at Rs463,273. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also declined by Rs2,279 to be sold for Rs424,682.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by a huge $29, reaching $5,176 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs179 to Rs9,175, while 10 grams of silver also decreased by Rs153 to be sold for Rs7,866.
