Turkiye has warned Iran over a violation of its airspace.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart and said any breach of Turkiy’s airspace would not be accepted under any circumstances.
Fidan said Turkiye would take all necessary measures to protect its airspace, adding that if such violations continued, Ankara would take the required action.
The Iranian foreign minister said the missile fired towards Turkey did not originate from Iran and that a comprehensive investigation into the incident would be carried out.
Meanwhile, Arab media reports said a second missile was fired from Turkey during the recent tensions.
