Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent on Tuesday a letter to Mojtaba Khamenei, congratulating him on assuming the responsibilities of the Iran's new supreme leader.
The prime minister stated that under the leadership of Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran will advance towards peace and prosperity.
He affirmed that Pakistan stands with Iran’s leadership and people during these difficult times.
The prime minister expressed deep sorrow to the Pakistani public over the passing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
He extended the prayers and condolences of the Pakistani nation to the people of Iran.
