The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said in a statement that minor operational adjustments were made to flight operations on operational grounds, after which services have been restored.
According to details, the PAA spokesman said all flights at the airport are now operating as normal. Passengers have been advised to contact their respective airlines for information regarding their flights.
It may be recalled that flight operations at Islamabad International Airport were halted at about 6:30pm and were restored at around 8pm.
All flights had been stopped from landing and taking off. Some flights were ready for departure for Medina and passengers had already boarded, but they too were held back.
