Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense has announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles in the eastern region, along with two drones.
Meanwhile, the Iranian military has issued a warning urging residents living near oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates to evacuate immediately.
In an official statement, Iran said it would target energy installations linked to its adversaries in the region. The warning comes in response to an alleged attack on an Israeli gas field, with Tehran signaling that Gulf oil infrastructure could be the next target.
According to Arab media reports, Qatar has already evacuated areas surrounding key energy facilities following Iran’s threats of potential strikes.
The developments mark a sharp escalation in regional tensions, raising concerns over the security of critical energy infrastructure across the Gulf.
