Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with his British counterpart and set out a clear position that providing military bases to the United States would be regarded as participation in aggression.
According to details, Iran warned that such countries would be treated as part of the conflict, adding that any form of assistance would be viewed as direct involvement.
The Iranian leadership said all US military bases could be considered potential targets.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran had so far used only a limited portion of its military capability.
He said any renewed attack on Iranian infrastructure would draw a severe response.
In a statement on X, he said Iran had refrained from escalating tensions and acted on requests from the international community.
He added that the present response reflected only a small share of Iran’s strength and that an end to the conflict required redress for damage to civilian populations.
The foreign minister said all Iranian actions were defensive in nature and any further attack or threat would meet a firm and comprehensive response.
He added that restraint and constructive measures remained essential for peace in the region.
Meanwhile, US broadcaster CNN reported that an F-35 stealth aircraft made an emergency landing at a US base in the Middle East after coming under fire.
It also reported that a US B-52 bomber returned to Britain.
