Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday vowed to knock out poverty if voted into power.
Addressing the public gathering in Burewala, the three-time premier said, ‘’We will bring the good old time back again by putting up all-out efforts. We will change the destiny of the country in such a way that everybody will have employment.’’
He bemoaned the whooping price of the tractor, saying, ‘’Today the price of the tractor reached Rs3.8 million. During my tenure, the price of the tractor was Rs 900,000.’’
Nawaz Sharif vowed to develop a motorway for Burewala.
The former prime minister recalled his ouster, lamenting, ‘’If my government was not ousted for receiving the salary, then nobody in the country had to face unemployment’’.
He maintained: ''Today the rate of di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) is Rs 14,000. During our tenure, the price of DAP was Rs 2,400.'' Even the price of urea was Rs 1,200, which has now reached Rs 5,000. Is this what tabdeeli is all about?’’

‘’The nation knows how I served. During my tenure, the prices of vegetables were Rs 10 per kg. Today, flour, sugar, pulses, and vegetables are witnessing a whooping hike. The country had been harmed in such a way that today there is no power ’’.
He vowed that his party would end inflation in the country.
