Sahibzada Farhan has surpassed the record of Virat Kohli for the most runs scored in a single edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup.
Farhan went past the 319-run mark set by Kohli during the 2014 T20 World Cup. The Indian batter had established the record in that tournament and it had stood unchallenged since.
The Pakistan opener crossed the landmark in his sixth innings of the competition, thereby setting a new benchmark in the history of the event.
