Lenovo has unveiled a pair of new tablets and an ambitious PC concept at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The rugged ThinkTab X11 is designed for mobility and durability, while the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 targets office and classroom environments.
Meanwhile, the company’s ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept promises unprecedented workspace flexibility.
Lenovo ThinkTab X11
The Lenovo ThinkTab X11 is Lenovo’s first rugged Android tablet, engineered for demanding environments. It carries IP68 certification and MIL-STD-810H military-grade testing.
One standout feature is Batteryless Mode, allowing the tablet to operate continuously on a dock or function as a kiosk without relying on its battery. When on battery, it packs 10,200mAh for all-day use.
Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, dual USB-C ports, and a front-mounted NFC receiver for easy payments. The 10.95-inch display boasts a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits brightness, paired with a stylus that neatly docks on top.

Under the hood, the X11 runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage — the same chipset powering Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro. The tablet will launch in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in April, priced at €500.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a 13-inch 16:10 LCD display with a resolution of 3,540 x 2,190 pixels. The 144Hz panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and reaches up to 800 nits in high brightness mode, delivering sharp visuals for productivity tasks.
Sound comes from four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, while connectivity is upgraded with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The tablet runs Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable via microSD. A 10,200mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, and Android 16 comes pre-installed with two promised OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 launches later this month at €550. A Folio Case and Pen stylus are included, while the Lenovo 2-in-1 Keyboard Pack is sold separately.
ThinkBook modular AI PC concept
At MWC 2026, Lenovo showcased the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept, a 14-inch notebook with a business-friendly design that hides an extraordinary level of adaptability.
The standout feature is a world-facing secondary display that can be detached and repositioned via magnetic attachment and a USB-C Magic Bay interface. It can function as a travel monitor in landscape or portrait mode, expanding the combined workspace to nearly 19 inches.
The keyboard detaches and connects via Bluetooth, enabling independent use for a desktop-like experience. Ports are modular and swappable, with USB-C and HDMI modules that can be repositioned for customized setups. Pogo-pin connectors maintain seamless power and data transmission between modules.
The concept integrates locally processed AI, enhancing context-aware assistance, while maintaining a solid build that feels integrated rather than fragile. Lenovo’s prototype demonstrates how modular design can boost productivity without sacrificing portability.
