Tremors were felt in Gilgit and adjoining areas on Tuesday, according to the Seismological Centre.
According to details, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 3.8, while its depth measured 12 kilometres, the centre reported.
The Seismological Centre said the epicentre lay 66 kilometres north-east of Gilgit.

Separately, few days back, the tremors were felt in the Kalat district of Balochistan, spreading fear among residents.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 4.6 on the Richter scale and had a depth of 25 kilometres. Officials said the epicentre lay about 27 kilometres south-east of Kalat.
