Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended its flights to the United Arab Emirates for the next 48 hours, according to an official statement.
Limited operations, however, will continue on select routes.
According to a statement issued by the national carrier, PIA has suspended its flights to the UAE for the next two days. The decision affects multiple routes, including flights to Fujairah, which have been specifically suspended for 48 hours.
Despite the suspension, PIA confirmed that its flights to Al Ain, UAE, will continue during this period. This means passengers traveling to Al Ain will still be able to use the airline’s services, while other destinations remain temporarily unavailable.
Advisory issued for passengers
The airline has issued the update to inform passengers about changes in its flight operations. Travelers are advised to stay updated with PIA announcements and plan their journeys accordingly during the suspension period.
Airspace closed for Indian aircraft
Meanwhile, Pakistan has further extended the closure of its airspace for Indian aircraft.
According to the latest notice issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority, the ban on Indian aircraft using Pakistani airspace will remain in effect until April 23. The restriction has been extended for another month, as per the official notification.
