Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will depart for Saudi Arabia today on a two-day visit to attend a crucial meeting of regional foreign ministers in Riyadh.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar will participate in a meeting of foreign ministers from regional countries in Riyadh.
The meeting is being held to discuss the evolving regional situation, with Dar attending on the invitation of the Saudi Arabian foreign minister.
The spokesperson confirmed that the Saudi foreign minister personally invited Ishaq Dar to the high-level meeting. The gathering will bring together foreign ministers from across the region to deliberate on pressing security and diplomatic challenges.
Pakistan to support sovereignty of all nations
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar is expected to reiterate Pakistan’s firm support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries. He will also call for an immediate halt to all attacks on what he described as “brotherly countries.”
