The Official Secrets Act Court Friday has received a notification from the Ministry of Law about the hearing of the cipher case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi to take place Saturday (tomorrow) at Adiala Jail.
In today's proceedings, Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain acknowledged the submission of the Ministry of Law's notification.
Lawyer Ali Bukhari, however, requested a postponement, citing the closure of the High Court and Supreme Court on Saturdays. He proposed rescheduling the hearing for December 5.
The judge suggested informing the Islamabad High Court and noted that Shah Mahmood Qureshi's name is also mentioned in the notification.
FIA Special Prosecutor argued scheduling the hearing in Adiala Jail today, but the court adjourned the case until Saturday (tomorrow).
