Lance Naik Abdul Halim's father spoke proudly of his son's lifelong aspiration to serve in the army, emphasizing the deep sense of honor accompanying his martyrdom. "My son was very well-mannered from childhood and was very keen to join the army," he fondly recalled.

"No matter how much you praise Irfan, he used to wake up in the morning to pray, laugh with his siblings and spend most of his time at home," she reminisced.
