The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has released the weekly data on the country’s dollar reserves.
In a week, the total dollar reserves of the country increased by $164.4 million, taking Pakistan’s overall dollar reserves to $2.16 billion. Commercial banks hold $525.7 million, while the central bank’s dollar reserves stand at $1.6341 billion.
The weekly report highlighted a notable increase of $41 million in banks’ dollar deposits, which had been falling consecutively.
