Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Canada will never take part in any war against Iran.
In a statement, he said that Canada’s position on the matter of Iran is completely clear, and the country will not participate in any military action. Mark Carney added that Canada supports measures aimed at limiting Iran’s nuclear programme and preventing the alleged export of terrorism.
The prime minister, a joint stance with G7 countries will be sought to reduce global tensions and prevent the situation from worsening.
He emphasised that in the current circumstances, diplomatic efforts and negotiations remain the most effective means of establishing peace in the region.
