Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, where the two leaders held detailed discussions on regional developments and reaffirmed their commitment to peace and stability.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were also present during the meeting.
At the beginning of the talks, the prime minister conveyed his respectful regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He also expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s longstanding support for Pakistan, highlighting the close and historic ties between the two countries.
Pakistan reiterates solidarity with Saudi Arabia
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s complete solidarity and full support for Saudi Arabia, particularly in what he described as challenging circumstances.
The prime minister assured Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that Pakistan will always stand firmly with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He emphasized that Pakistan would continue to make every possible effort to achieve the shared goal of peace in the region.
The two leaders also held detailed discussions on the latest developments in the region, reflecting growing geopolitical tensions and security concerns. Both sides agreed to continue working closely together to promote peace, stability, and cooperation across the region.
The meeting highlighted the strong diplomatic coordination between Islamabad and Riyadh on regional and international matters.
PM leaves Jeddah after meeting
Following the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif departed for home from Jeddah International Airport’s Royal Terminal. At the airport, he was seen off by Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Riyadh Ahmed Farooq, Consul General in Jeddah Syed Mustafa Rabbani, and other diplomatic officials were also present to bid farewell to the prime minister.
The visit reaffirmed the deep strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both countries pledging continued cooperation for regional peace and stability.
