At least 15 individuals have lost their lives following a fresh assault on Iran by the United States and Israel.
According to Iranian media, the attack took place in an industrial area of Isfahan. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that 15 days have passed since the imposition of this brutal war by the United States and Israel, and despite the enemy's attacks, the country continues to operate normally.
In a statement on social media, the Iranian president said that government officials have faced no hindrance in performing their duties, and they continue their work diligently. He added that although the United States and Israel have caused destruction, the nation will rebuild collectively.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi commented that all matters regarding Mojtaba Khamenei remain normal. He warned that any further attack would target American oil companies. He stated that if energy installations are attacked, a severe response would follow. "The straits remain open, and the United States and its allies will not be allowed to interfere. Civilian areas will not be targeted; retaliatory actions will focus on American interests."
Meanwhile, in Iraq, the American embassy in Baghdad came under a drone strike. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Moreover, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told the media that both the United States and Iran should return to the negotiating table. He said the war must end soon and cautioned that the conflict risks further escalation. Talks are ongoing with Iran regarding attacks on Turkish territory. He added that Israel is leading Lebanon towards instability and that the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque is spreading concern across the region.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said in a media statement that the solution to the Lebanese issue is diplomatic, not military. He expressed deep concern over Lebanon’s situation, emphasising that the Lebanese people did not choose this war but were drawn into it. Respect for Lebanon's sovereignty is essential, and an immediate ceasefire is required.
