Petroleum stock and monitoring
During the briefing, authorities informed the meeting that Pakistan currently has sufficient petroleum product stocks to meet national requirements.
Officials added that a detailed record of petroleum supplies is being maintained. This system aims to immediately detect any irregularities and ensure transparency in distribution.
PM directs improved import supply chain
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed the Petroleum Minister to play a more active role in strengthening the supply chain for petroleum imports.
He stressed that improving import mechanisms is essential to maintain uninterrupted fuel availability, especially under current regional pressures.
The prime minister directed all relevant institutions to remain fully prepared for emergency measures until the situation stabilizes.
He emphasized that constant monitoring of the situation will continue, ensuring timely action if any disruption arises.
