Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday rejected the Afghan Taliban’s claim that a hospital had been targeted, terming the allegation baseless and false.
The federal information minister dismissed assertions that a drug rehabilitation centre in Kabul had been struck, stating that Pakistan’s actions were directed solely at the terrorist elements and military objectives.
The federal minister said targeted operations were carried out on the night of March 16 in Kabul and Nangarhar. He maintained that no hospital or civilian installation had been hit during the strikes.
The Afghan Taliban regime is peddling yet another falsehood by alleging that Pakistan targeted a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul. This claim is entirely baseless.

Tarar said that the operations focused on weapons depots and terrorist infrastructure, adding that the video evidence had been provided to the media, clearly indicating the nature of the targets.
He said explosions and flames seen in the footage pointed to the destruction of arms stockpiles, adding that they were attempting to conceal facts through old footage and fabricated claims.
Tarar warned that the principal threat of terrorism in the region continued to emanate from Afghan territory.
The minister further said that children and drug addicts were being used in acts of terrorism. He added that Pakistan would continue to take all necessary measures against terrorism and would not allow cross-border militants any safe havens.
