After facing setbacks in recent years, especially post-Covid, Pakistan’s film industry is hoping for a revival this Eid.
With multiple films releasing simultaneously in cinemas and on television, fans are expected to enjoy a wide variety of content this festive season.
Films releasing in cinemas
Aag Lagay Basti Mein
Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan headline Aag Lagay Basti Mein, a comedy-action film hitting cinemas this Eid.

The cast also includes Javed Sheikh, while Tabish Hashmi makes his acting debut. The film has been heavily promoted ahead of release.
Bullah
Bullah marks the return of Shaan Shahid to the big screen.

The action film features him as a vigilante delivering justice, alongside Meera (Mona Lisa), Saleem Sheikh, and Naeema Butt.
Delhi Gate
Another Eid release, Delhi Gate, features a strong ensemble cast including Shamoon Abbasi, Javed Sheikh, and Roma Micheal.
The film is also set for a theatrical release during the festive period.

Love Guru
Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed starrer Love Guru will premiere this Eid.
The romantic comedy was released last year and is expected to attract family audiences.

Neelofar
Neelofar, featuring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, will air on Geo Entertainment.
Despite underperforming at the box office, the film remains highly anticipated among fans.
The Legend of Maula Jatt
The blockbuster The Legend of Maula Jatt will also have its world television premiere this Eid.

Starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Humaima Malick, it remains the highest-grossing Pakistani film to date.
