Veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan, father of superstar Salman Khan, has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing treatment for nearly a month.
According to reports, Salim Khan was released from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after showing steady improvement in his condition. Salman Khan was present at the hospital during the discharge process.
Sources revealed that Salman Khan arrived at the hospital around 6:00am to complete the necessary discharge formalities. Other family members were also present when Salim Khan left the hospital. He was officially discharged at 10:24am.
Salim Khan had been admitted on February 17, when doctors later confirmed that he had suffered a brain hemorrhage. During his treatment, his condition gradually improved, and doctors eventually allowed him to return home.
A team of specialist doctors at Lilavati Hospital closely monitored his health throughout his stay. During treatment, the blood clot was successfully removed, and doctors expressed satisfaction with his recovery.
During this difficult time, his family remained by his side, while fans and well-wishers from around the world prayed for his speedy recovery.
It is worth noting that Salim Khan married Salma Khan in 1964, and the couple has four children, including Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. Later, in 1981, Salim Khan married renowned actress Helen.
The couple celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in November 2025, the same month Salim Khan also celebrated his 90th birthday with family.
