Snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan has set a historic record with a break of 153 points.
According to details surfaced on Friday, the feat took place during the World Open. The previous world record for the highest break stood at 148. O’Sullivan’s effort surpasses that mark and sets a new benchmark in the sport.
“Just want to say a big shoutout to all the people who have been messaging me, congratulating me on the 153,” O’Sullivan said in a video posted on X.
“It was a pretty cool moment, really happy to do it. Thank you to everyone out there that has supported me.”
