Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reiterated on Friday his commitment to continue supporting all efforts aimed at advancing peace and prosperity.
According to details surfaced, he held a telephone conversation with his Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. The two leaders discussed the evolving regional situation.
Both sides emphasised the importance of negotiations, patience, and collective efforts to ensure peace and stability. They agreed to maintain close contact in light of the current situation.
Earlier, on X (formerly Twitter), Ishaq Dar shared that he spoke by phone with his friend, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
He reiterated the need for peace and stability in the Middle East and the wider region. Both sides agreed to support all efforts to reduce tension.
They also concurred on the resumption of negotiations, protection of civilians, and security of communication channels.
The Chinese foreign minister acknowledged Pakistan’s ongoing efforts and support. They agreed to continue seeking resolution of disputes through negotiations and diplomacy.
