Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Abid Sher Ali said on Tuesday that former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif had invited the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to form the government following the elections.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Ali said, ""Barrister Gohar Ali Khan had refused to become part of the election. If we do not complete the journey, it will be hard to save both the state and politics."
"The PTI and all other stakeholders should find a way for the betterment of the country. This country just belongs to the PML-N," said Ali.

Earlier, PML-N spokesperson Azma Zahid Bokhari said Maryam Nawaz Sharif will be very active chief minister of Punjab and claimed policies would be started implementing within five minutes after she take oath as chief executive.
She was talking to media persons outside the Punjab Assembly. “We always talked about taking the opposition together and never crossed the rules,” Azma Zahid said.
“Maryam Nawaz is our red line and if anyone cross it, we know how to respond and how to self-defence. Maryam Nawaz would be a different Chief Minister,” she said.
