After a brief pause, gold prices have risen once more in both global and local markets.
The price of 24-carat gold per tola has increased by Rs800, reaching a new high of Rs268,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has surged by Rs685, now standing at Rs230,195.
On the international front, gold prices also saw an increase of $8, bringing the rate to a record $2,577 per ounce.
