Ananya Panday has opened up about her past relationships, revealing that she often reshaped herself to meet her partner’s expectations.
The Bollywood actor said she now sees that period differently and has learned to value her independence and personal space.
Speaking in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Ananya Panday admitted that she used to change herself significantly while in relationships.
The actor said she would often try to become more like the other person, believing it was necessary for the relationship to work.
“I’d change myself a lot, become more like the other person. I wish I’d learned earlier not to let someone change me or affect me so much,” she said.
She added that she sometimes felt she had to be “less of something,” a realization she now wishes had come earlier in her life.
Learning to be comfortable with being alone
The actor also shared that there was a time when being alone felt difficult for her.
According to Panday, she always preferred having someone around, whether it was a partner, her parents, or close friends.
However, that mindset began to shift after she started living on her own, even though she still resides in the same building as her parents.
“Building your own environment and doing things your own way shifted my love for space. I just love being alone now,” the Gehraiyaan star said.

In recent months, Ananya Panday has also been linked to Walker Blanco, a former model who is now believed to be working at Vantara in Jamnagar.
Speculation about their relationship began after the two were reportedly seen together during the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai in July 2024.
The actor was previously in a relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur.
On the professional front, Ananya Panday continues to stay active in Bollywood projects.
She was last seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri alongside her former partner Kartik Aaryan.
The actor is next set to appear in Chand Mera Dil, where she will share the screen with Lakshya Lalwani.
