Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 73rd wave of its “Operation True Promise-4,” claiming widespread strikes across Israeli-held territories and US military bases in the region.
In the early hours of Sunday, the IRGC confirmed it had carried out the latest phase of its military campaign under the codename “Imam Ali (AS)” as part of “Operation True Promise-4.”
According to its Public Relations Department, the operation targeted both southern and northern areas of what it described as the “occupied territories.”
The IRGC said its Aerospace Division launched a combination of missiles and drones in the operation.
It claimed that military installations and security centers in Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Be’er Sheva, and Kiryat Gat were “precisely hit” using Fattah, Ghadr, and Emad missile systems, along with destructive drones.
The statement alleged that Israeli air defense systems had collapsed, allowing the strikes to penetrate deep into the territory.
US military bases also targeted
The IRGC further claimed that US military installations in the region were also struck. These included the Ali al-Salem, al-Minhad, and Al-Dhafra airbases, which it said were targeted by missiles and drones during the operation.

According to field reports cited by the IRGC, more than 200 people were killed and injured in the initial hours of the offensive. The group also alleged that Israeli authorities had increased pressure on journalists and eyewitnesses to censor reports of damage and casualties.
Hezbollah involvement
The IRGC praised Hezbollah’s role in the broader confrontation, stating that its actions had helped open a “high-pressure” front against northern and central areas of Israel.
This, it said, reflects a widening regional dimension to the conflict.
In its statement, the IRGC claimed that the balance of the conflict is rapidly changing. It asserted that Israel’s ability to defend its territory is weakening and that control over its defense systems is deteriorating.

The IRGC also criticized the Israeli government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing it of worsening the situation through its military strategy. It warned of increasing risks to civilians, particularly those living near nuclear and military facilities.
The latest wave of attacks marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. With missile and drone strikes expanding across multiple fronts, concerns are growing over a wider regional war.
