Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, widely known for her hit dramas like Mere Humsafar, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, and Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, has a surprising new skill - she’s a boxer.
While fans know her for her on-screen talent, modeling work, and her role as a UN Women national ambassador, little was known about her training in the ring.
World Youth Boxing Champion Usman Wazeer revealed Aamir’s boxing hobby during a recent podcast with Mubashir Hashmi. When asked about training celebrities, Hashmi immediately inquired about Aamir.
Wazeer noted that people often only see one side of her. “She might seem cute and delicate, but she has a lot of energy,” he said. He explained that Aamir trains extensively behind the scenes, although she keeps her boxing practice private. “I had told her not to share yet, and I don’t post her videos either,” he added.
The host praised Aamir as a role model for women, highlighting her participation in such a challenging sport. Wazeer also joked that training footage might be shared after this podcast, especially when Aamir participates in a fight. He confirmed that she is capable and energetic, while also supporting his boxing career.
Wazeer also commended Aamir for her humility and encouragement of friends on social media.
At just 25 years old, Usman Wazeer is a decorated Pakistani boxer, holding multiple titles including the WBC Middle East Title, WBA Asia Title, WBC OPBF Silver Title, and WBO World Youth Title.
