The price of gold has seen a massive surge after recording the biggest drop in history in global and local markets.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs16,300, reaching Rs464,062 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs13,975, taking it to Rs397,858. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a hike of Rs12,811 to be sold for Rs364,716.

International gold prices
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $163 to reach $4,413 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend, with the price of silver per tola rising by Rs570 to Rs7,454 in Pakistan, while 10 grams of silver also hiked by Rs489 to be sold for Rs6,390.
