Israel is prepared for "any further developments and scenarios," according to Israel Armed Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari, noting that the country intercepted 99% of Iran's more than 300 projectiles.
In a televised briefing, he said about 30 cruise missiles were fired among the projectiles, but claimed none of them reached Israel. Of the over 120 ballistic missiles fired, only a "few" reached Israel; the remainder were intercepted, he added.

According to Hagari, a few ballistic missiles struck the Nevatim airbase, but they only slightly damaged the base's infrastructure.

Moreover, some launches were also made against Israel from Yemen and Iraq, but none of them entered the nation. The spokesperson went on to say that "dozens" of rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israel's northern region; however, Israel was unharmed and retaliated by hitting various targets in Lebanon.
Although a 10-year-old girl suffered serious injuries from shrapnel, Hagari said there were no immediate reports of any other Israeli casualties or fatalities.

“Iran did something very serious, very severe this night, as it pushed the Middle East toward escalation. We will do whatever is necessary in order to defend the citizens of the state of Israel,” he said.
Airspace reopens
A representative for Israel's airport authority announced in a statement that the airspace over the country was reopened on Sunday at 7:30am local time.
Travellers should check with airlines and the airport authority's website for updates to flight schedules as flights out of Tel Aviv were likely to change. The statement said domestic airports would stay open all day.
