The leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has given a new task to the workers to protest against the implementation of Section-144 as protests will be held at 30 places in the provincial metropolis in a while.
Party sources claimed that PTI’s assembly members, who were elected from Lahore, ticket holders, and party officials, would lead the protests.
“Demonstrations in different areas of Lahore will continue till evening,’ it said. Party sources said PTI did not announce the locations of the protest due to the arrests by the police.
